About Lone Star Concrete Guild

We publish practical Texas concrete guidance and are developing a service that introduces homeowners to suitable independent contractors. The Guild is independently operated. We are not a construction company, a government licensing body or a member-governed trade association.

What is available today

Our project guides explain materials, site conditions and questions to ask before hiring. Local chapters are geographic guides; they do not represent physical offices or employed crews. We do not currently publish a confirmed contractor roster or claim a completed Guild project portfolio.

You can ask about an introduction. We must first confirm a suitable contractor’s project types, area and availability. A request does not guarantee an introduction, inspection, estimate or response time. If a suitable recipient is unavailable, no introduction can be promised.

Any construction estimate, contract, permit responsibility and warranty must be agreed with the independent contractor. Photos illustrate project topics and do not establish that the Guild or a Guild member completed the work.

What to check before choosing a contractor

  • Ask for relevant local project references, including older work where performance can be checked over time.
  • Confirm current insurance and any registration or trade credentials relevant to your project directly with the issuer or local authority.
  • Request an itemized scope explaining site preparation, materials, installation methods, exclusions and payment stages.
  • Agree who handles permits, HOA submissions, inspections and site cleanup before work begins.
  • Read the contractor’s workmanship warranty separately from any manufacturer’s product warranty.

These are hiring criteria, not a claim that every prospective contractor has passed a completed Guild inspection or holds a Guild certification.

How the service is supported

We are developing free referral trials with contractor prospects. A contractor may later pay an agreed recurring fee for introductions. Rates can vary with demonstrated value and the arrangement; payment does not replace your own checks or guarantee workmanship.

Contractor names, logos, reviews and project photos are published only with permission. An introduction arrangement does not itself mean a contractor is a publicly listed Guild member.
